Grey Land: In Memory of World War I
For this vivid and poignant performance, dancers from Raison D’être Dance Project join cellist Else Trygstad-Burke, pianist Lori Rosolowsky, and a chamber orchestra to perform two new works choreographed to music written in the aftermath of the First World War.
Vaughan-Williams’ Six Studies in English Folk Songs (cello and piano) will be followed by Edward Elgar’s powerful Cello Concerto in E Minor.
